Located in the scenic Hiawatha National Forest in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, the hatchery raises lake trout “broodstock” and produces up to eight million lake trout eggs annually in support of lake trout restoration in the Great Lakes. Please call ahead for a tour and get ready to see these big whoppers up close!
