Iron River National Fish Hatchery

Established in 1979 Iron River National Fish Hatchery produces lake trout and brook trout for restoration programs in the upper Great Lakes. On your visit you can see “Big Fish” as Iron River NFH raises “broodstock” to produce eggs for hatchery use and for distribution to other agencies and programs.
