This visitor center is part of Greers Ferry Lake .In an effort to make each visit enjoyable as well as education, interpreters provide visitors with information about local flora and fauna, a touch table with items ranging from rock formation to animal vertebra; the history of early explorers in the area; and detailed information on the purpose and history of the Greers Ferry Dam and Power plant. An exhibit area begins in prehistoric time and moves the visitor through history to the present.
