Alpine Gardens Loop (#49)

Length: .25 miles ONE-WAY Elevation: 12,113 feet - 12,209 feet Trail Description: Begin at the Upper Goliath Trailhead . This is a wonderful wildflower hike. The best time for wildflowers is late June to mid-August. For a longer hiker, hike the M. Walter Pesman Trail (#50) down 1.5 miles to the Mount Goliath Natural Area. Note: Due to high elevation, the trails in some years are not generally snow-free until late June or mid-July. View a COTREX trail map here .
