The day use picnic areas are located about 1/2 mile from Pine Valley Reservoir, in a ponderosa pine setting. They offer great views of Pine Valley Mountain. Recreation opportunities include hiking, fishing, sight-seeing, and wildlife viewing. ATV's cannot be ridden within the day use areas. No floating devices are permitted in the reservoir (such as float tubes, rafts, boats, etc.). Ask the concessionaire or the Interagency Office for maps showing ATV opportunities.
