Provides access to : Fremont National Recreation Trail #160 - Southern Segment and the Crane Mountain National Recreation Trail #161 . The junction of these trails is located approximately 1/2 trail mile west of the trailhead. This alpine setting is characterized by large ponderosa pines and stands of aspen trees, which blaze golden every fall.
