This multi-use winter trail follows the Duncan Creek drainage through open meadows and spruce and birch forest. The trail climbs gently for the first ten miles before a steep ascent to a ridgeline with views of the Beaver Creek drainage. This section of trail receives frequent windstorms and portions of the trail may be blown over with drifted snow.
