Halfmoon Recreation Area

Forest Service Road 110, known as the Halfmoon Road, follows the southern border of the Mount Massive Wilderness. It provides access to several popular campgrounds, as well as two of the most popular trailheads on the Leadville district, the Mount Massive trailhead and the North Elbert Trailhead.
