The Mesa Creek Trail #505 begins at Hwy 65 and ends at an intersection with the West Bench Trail #501. There is an information Kiosk at the trail parking area that talks about the first sky runs on the Grand Mesa before Powderhorn, the old runs have never repopulated with trees and can still be seen.
