The Mesa Top Trail #714 travels through groves of aspen, spruce/fir and open meadows. After about a mile it reaches the southern edge of the Grand Mesa where it continues southwest along the rim for approximately 4 miles where it intersects the Indian Point Trail #715 and the Flowing Park Trail #714.1A.
