Part of the trail is in the Powderhorn Wilderness. Portions of the trail outside the wilderness area are open for the following uses: hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, motorcycle trail riding, ATV trail riding. Motorized and mechanized use is prohibited in the Wilderness.
