Shoshone Ridge

This interpretive site along the Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail was developed cooperatively with the Forest Service. It is primarily a staging area for Lewis & Clark enthusiasts planning to travel across Lemhi Pass with vehicles too long to get over that steep and windy mountain pass. Recreational trailers and motor homes can be left here while travelers venture over the pass in a more suitable vehicle.
