Big Creek Landing, located on a high bank overlooking Black Creek Wild and Scenic River, serves as the northern terminus and beginning/end point for both the Black Creek float trip and the Black Creek Hiking Trail. Here the stream ranges from 20 to 100 feet wide and, depending on the season and rainfall, 1 to 15 feet deep. Big Creek Landing is a small recreation area.
